In this webinar, Paychex will present a comprehensive webinar discussing new business start-ups from a payroll tax perspective. Topics to be covered include determining who is an employee, payroll tax liabilities, taxable compensation, etc.

Joanne Farina, our presenter, is a Human Resource Consultant at Paychex. Day to day she meets with business owners and their management teams to assess the HR function of the business and provide effective recommendations that could positively impact the organization and employees.

In this webinar, Joanna will present a comprehensive webinar discussing new business start-ups from a payroll tax perspective. Topics to be covered include determining who is an employee, payroll tax liabilities, taxable compensation, payroll tax returns, payment dates, tax penalties, self-employment taxes, keeping accurate wage and tax records, guidelines on employing family members, new hire reporting requirements, garnishments, and resident and nonresident aliens.

There will be time for Q&A with Joanna as well as mentors from our chapter.
